MAKE A DONATION
Donate Materials & Furniture
Thank you to all your donations of furniture and starter supplies, for the three Afghan resettled families in Elmbridge. We are still on the lookout for another 2 properties (see our property appeal).
In order to keep material donations limited to only what we need, since we have no storage, we have created a list that of our latest needs that can be accessed here - LATEST MATERIAL DONATION NEEDS . If you anything on this list that you are willing to donate please contact us on on materialselmbridgecan@gmail.com
Please also consider donating to larger charities like Refugee Action Kingston and Care4Calais that may appreciate these.
Donate Money
Our work relies largely on donations from people like you. Except for one paid role, which is funded by Walton Charity, are all volunteers, with minimal expenses, so you can rest assured that the money you donate goes directly towards the families we support. Please note that we allocate the money according to the biggest need among the families we support, so if your donation needs to be limited to a particular cause, please send a quick email to our treasurer phil.mitchell59@ntlworld.com
UKRAINE CRISIS - We will also be setting up a small fund to support Ukrainians once they arrive if they are in financial need. Please note that the number of Ukrainians who will be arriving is currently very uncertain, so if we have excess donations to this fund then we may use these to support our existing and new families from elsewhere, something that we are sure that our kind donors will understand. Please mark your donations 'Ukraine' so we can track money donated in this way.
Organising a community fundraiser is also a great way everyone can help, and one of the core team would always be happy to speak about our work at such events.
If you'd like to make one-off donation or set up a regular monthly direct debit or donate towards our Support Fund 200 please click below to be taken to our secure Card-donate link. Don't forget to add GiftAid if you can.
