LATEST HEADLINES ... 

-We are hiring a Ukrainian Refugee Integration worker. Find out more on our Get Involved page
-We are actively looking for  rental houses Afghans from the Afghan Locally Employed Relocation scheme
(translators etc) and Ukrainians  - please help us spread the word or talk to estate agents
- We re meeting 10's of new hosts and Ukrainian families that have arrived in Elmbridge
- We are setting up Meet-up hubs for Ukrainian and other refugees for networking and information sharing- 
See Get Support.  
- We are have furnished two houses, one for a Ukrainian family and one for an Afghan family one from 100's of Afghan families still waiting in hotels for over 8 months. 
- Meanwhile we are continuing support at the Afghan temporary accommodation in Elmbridge, with over 44 families including:
i) ESOL English lessons twice a week for those who are able to enrol in college, or want to complement their college learning
ii)  digital literacy training for women, so that they can use computers to learn English and develop their digital skills which have become a core necessity in our modern world
iii) Yoga once week for health and wellbeing
iv) weekly arrangement with St Georges School for teenagers to be involved in a sports activity  
v) and supporting the council with various other needs for this group of Afghans including Life In the UK talks
- We are making contacts with local afterschool clubs to encourage our families to join 
- We continue to support existing families, with practical and community activities
